Can you please explain the limits in Test Parameters?
Hello Mr. Engineer, thank you for submitting your question. Limits are used in Sample Master to determine and notify you if the result you entered is out of the set range. Hard limits, such as Detection and Range limits, when set will flag the result red, and you will not be able to enter the result without going through additional steps. Soft limits, such as Upper and Lower limits will allow the result to be entered, but you will receive a warning and the result will be flagged yellow. There are other limits in Sample Master, and they can be affected by dilution, percent moisture, volume, etc. Please refer to your Sample Master manual for a much more detailed explanation of limits. If you need a copy, you can download it from our Support site or you can contact our Support team for further explanation. In addition, Boot Camp is right around the corner and limits will be covered in detail. Hope to see you there!
